Before The CommUnity ATL ever existed, there was a woman sitting behind the wheel of her car trying to rebuild her life.

After navigating one of the most challenging seasons she had ever faced, Deanna Dixon returned to Atlanta determined to create a new future for herself and her daughter. To make ends meet, she began driving for rideshare services. A gifted vocalist with a lifelong passion for music, Deanna began singing during rides. What started as simple moments between driver and passenger quickly became something extraordinary. Complete strangers found themselves laughing, crying, singing along, and sharing stories. For a few minutes at a time, her car became more than transportation. It became a place of connection.

Videos of those encounters began spreading online, introducing millions of people to the woman who would become known as The Rideshare Queen. Her authenticity, positivity, and remarkable voice resonated with audiences around the world. Yet behind every viral moment was a deeper realization: people were hungry for connection.

As her platform grew, Deanna began asking a simple question: What would happen if those moments of connection could extend beyond the car?

Today, The CommUnity ATL is more than a choir. It is a community dedicated to creating joy, belonging, and human connection through music.
